Fashion Design Program Info: For the past two years, BusinessWeek magazine has ranked the School of Design at the University of Cincinnati (UC) as among the worlds very best . In fact, BusinessWeeks 2007 annual design issue highlighted UC as a model for design programs that are shaping a new generation of creative managers. The main feature of that annual design issue began with the words: On the campus of the University of Cincinnati .
What sets UCs design programs apart is, among other things, the required cooperative education component. UC is the global founder of whats commonly known as co-op, the practice that requires students to alternate quarters or semesters in the classroom with quarters or semesters of professionally paid work.
