Program Info: Well-versed in building structures, roads and bridges as well as ensuring environmental sustainability, graduates of the civil and environmental engineering program are well prepared to handle the nation’s increasing demand for infrastructure projects like expanded transportation, energy-efficient construction, water supply and pollution control systems.
Environmental Engineering focuses on protecting and preserving human health and the environment by applying engineering and scientific principles. Environmental Engineers design and provide facilities for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastes, construct and operate systems that purify water, and develop models for the removal of contaminants from the environment.
