Edinboro has been educating speech-language pathologists since 1974. We understand what it takes to turn students into compassionate care providers. Our curriculum provides you with a deep understanding of different diagnoses, including aphasia and swallowing disorders, as well as the use of augmentative and alternative communications systems. You’ll spend a great deal of time in the field getting hands-on experience, honing your critical thinking skills and developing your professional judgment. You’ll start in the fall and will most likely complete all your degree requirements by July of your second year. During your two years at Edinboro, you’ll complete five clinical rotations - two on campus at the state-of-the-art Governor George Leader Speech and Hearing Center, and three internships in adult and pediatric health care settings. During your clinical experiences, you will refine your clinical skills under the supervision of a qualified practitioner and grow as a professional.
