Susquehanna’s comprehensive offerings in English, creative writing, editing and publishing provide an inclusive community of inspiration and ingenuity. Students are able to major in English or creative writing, and many add a minor in editing and publishing. The department is home to 7 student-run magazines; The Letterbox, an editing and publishing suite; the Northeast Modern Languages Association; the Forum for Undergraduate Student Editors; an annual Undergraduate Literature and Creative Writing Conference; and the Writers Institute. What’s more, students find success after Susquehanna. Typically 94 percent are employed or enrolled in graduate or professional school within six months of graduation.
